Joy Grows’ nonprofit mission is to help people grow plants.

We facilitate community gardens and distribute plants & soil.

We collaborate with partners and residents to create community gardens with real food production potential.

GOALS

Our current focus is facilitating a community garden at Harbor House, a 300 unit affordable housing neighborhood in Eastport.

We are growing and eating fresh veggies while building community

The best thing we can do is garden together!

What else are we doing:

Located at 500 Burnside St, we steward a community greenspace and nature sanctuary in the heart of Eastport.

Supporting other local community gardens

We are helping Eastport restaurant Vin909 compost their food scraps for the benefit of our community garden projects.
